How to Apply Rogaine Foam:
-- Apply half a capful once daily directly to scalp in the hair loss area.
-- Massage into scalp with fingers, then wash hands well.
-- Using more or more often will not improve results.
Continued use is necessary to increase and keep your hair regrowth or hair loss will begin again.
Help hair loss and regrow fuller hair with Women's Rogaine 5% Minoxidil Topical Foam. Ideal for use at the early stages of hair thinning, this fast-working hair loss treatment is specially formulated for women and is clinically proven to regrow up to 25% more hair. Unlike hair loss shampoos and hair thickening products that temporarily plump hair from the outside, Rogaine penetrates the scalp to reactivate shrunken hair follicles, allowing for regrowth of hair. The 5% Minoxidil formula works to boost hair follicle activity and hair protein production, while Tricho-Prime Technology uses a proprietary combination of ingredients to create an optimal environment for hair regrowth. The foam also contains botanical extracts and emollient to help maintain a healthy, conditioned scalp, plus alphahydroxy acid (AHA) to promote natural skin exfoliation to help keep follicles open. It comes in a no-mess foam that is easy to use: Simply apply half a capful once daily and massage the foam into your scalp. And like all Rogaine products, this Minoxidil foam is designed to fit easily into your daily beauty regimen.
Rogaine Real Reviews from various authorised sources
Update: I stopped using it after a year and my hair started thinning out again. You really have to keep using it to keep the effects. Just started using it again. It definitely made a difference.
I'm almost 30 years old, the women of my family have a history of thining hair, so I decided to start now (I began to see some thining and hair loss). Rogaine has made a huge difference in my hair growth and thickness. It took about 3 months to see some progress and start feeling the texture changing and the volume increasing, at 6 months I thought it couldn't get better but I'd be happy with where I was then. I've been using it for almost 8 months and I'm still seeing results. I love it! Everyone notices my hair looks great. I experienced no side effects only growing hair!
So far so good... Worth it..
Was so worried to buy this as it is a life long treatment. But later decided to go with it. Started using Rogaine and could see change in a month... Hardly takes 5-10 mins to apply in the hairless areas. I also use biotin supplements and Purador hair fall therapy shampoo. But 80% of the change you observe in the photos is through rogaine as I have female patterned baldness specially focussed on the center line. 'Any of those three things I'm doing for my hair didn't stop my hair fall.'
Will update again in a month with new pictures.
P.S. The first three days immediately after I applied it caused me dizziness and I had to sit for at least 30 mins. From the 4th day it's gone. May be minute amounts was absorbed by my skin and caused hypotension.
Definitely Improved
I can say that I am seeing a definite improvement in my hair growth. My only worry is the side effects. I am not experiencing any, but I am only 35 and if I have to use this the rest of my life... The photos were taken six months apart.
oh, yeah!!!
I cannot believe how much thicker my hair is! I had resigned myself to the fact I'd probably have to wear a wig in a couple years. I starting seeing a difference at the 4 month mark. I've been using it just a little over a year now and I think I have a "normal" head of hair! Very happy girl here!
Works better than expected!!!!
I ordered this product for the first time at the end of February of this year. I've been losing my hair for quite some time, and had just never addressed it before now. The picture shows what my hair looks like when I first started using the product on February 22 and the last picture is what my hair looks like as of May 15. The growth over the last three months has been pretty significant, and I'm not losing as much hair as I was before. I don't think this product will help regrow my hair at the front of my hairline, but as long as it's thicker and covering more of my scalp, I can live with that. Let's see what the next three months bring. It's also the best deal I've found so far, as a four month supply generally costs about $45 at Target.
EXCELLENT PRODUCT - ALWAYS LOOKING FOR ADVANCEMENT
Hit menopause and I started to loose hair. It was noticeable because I had very thick hair all my younger years all over my head to this point but started to lose the hair on the top of my scalp. Visited two dermatologists specializing in hair loss who recommended giving this product a try (in addition to many vitamins). I would recommend this product if the cause for hair loss is because of menopause. Apparently, mine was a genetic disease, and this product helps to stimulate the hair root. I have used this product faithfully every night in the areas of hair loss and after 4 months noticed a change and after 6 months realized that the hair that has returned is the final amount of hair I will have in my senior years (which has filled in a good amount). I am satisfied with the product. Please note that I use this product every night (you cannot skip). I do color my hair every 4 weeks and follow the instructions regarding hair coloring that comes in the brochure with the product.
IT WORKS!
I must say: THIS REALLY WORKS. I was tired of trying all sorts of vitamins and products that didn’t seem to help at all but now this is the real deal. I’ve been using it for just a little over two months and can already see the results (see pictures). I’ve probably skipped a few days but have overall followed the instructions consistently. I intend to now use it in other spots of my head as well. I hear it may be good for eyebrows but haven’t tried. Be careful not to let it fall in the sides of your face. I’ve noticed that hair has been growing in that part of my face so I’ll have to wax it now.
I like the foam
So far the foam is great. It doesn't run like the liquid, so I'm putting squirts on the top of my head (where my hair is thinning) and letting the foam dissolve into my scalp. It's not greasy, but is like a hairstyling gel when melted. It's not hard to rub the melted foam into my scalp, and then style as usual with hairstyling gel. It's also easy to put in at night, a few hours before bedtime. Then just wash your hair in the morning as usual. I haven't noticed any smell, which is nice.
Mixed/minimal results
Uncertain results for this user. I am female, middle-aged, post menopause. Hair loss does not run in my family to the best of my knowledge (and I now suspect the hair loss may be related to HRT, which my doctor never even mentioned, grrrr, but that is another story). I started having significant, noticeable hair loss on the crown and top of my head in July 2016 and my doctor recommended trying this when I brought it to her attention after six months of waiting for it to stop. I started using the Rogaine in January, and after 7 months, I do not see any noticeable regrowth. The hair that is still there definitely seems thicker, which might be from the Rogaine, or could be from the shampoo I started using in late March: Pure Body Naturals Hair Loss Shampoo with Biotin, Sulfate-Free, 16 Ounce. While I'm not sure if the shampoo is responsible for making the existing hair seem fuller, the shedding I experienced in the shower *immediately* lessened once I started using the shampoo. I will probably finish the can of Rogaine I have but then will be continuing my search for other solutions.
I did not find it difficult or messy to apply the Rogaine foam, as some other users mentioned. After the first few days, I just started applying it from the can directly to my scalp and then massaging it, which was more convenient and faster than first putting a measure of foam in the cap as the package says. Hope this helps someone else.
Miracle Foam
This product works. I've been using it for 2 1/2 years. My hair was thinning due to thyroid issues. I started using the Rogaine and it gradually thickened up my hair. I was so happy. Then my doctor decided to lower my thyroid meds. My hair has been falling out for the last three months. All my hard work was for nothing. Now I'm back where I started. But I have noticed a lot of little hairs growing in. How do you lose hair and grow hair at the same time?!? I will continue to use women's Rogaine because I know it works. The only drawback is you have to use it everyday forever.
