Product Details
This is a fantastic product. I am 28 years old and found thinning of my hair around my temples and a very tiny amount of thinning across the frontal part of my scalp. Please note that I had minimal hair loss to begin with but I did start noticing thinning around 8 months ago. I did not want to lose any of my hair so decided to try rogaine although I did not really expect to see any results initially. Within 4 weeks, I started noticing thin hair strands repopulating my temples. In 2 months my hairline actually started moving forward across the frontal part of my scalp and now 5 months after use, my hair looks amazing, (better than wolverine from xmen, haha). I look like a 16 year old version of myself. Highly recommend to anyone who has started noticing hair thinning. Please don't wait for it fall out and then try. Also, do note, that everyone is different. I was fortunate to see great results but I have heard and read that some people don't experience similar results.
Perfect product finally!
I have tried a number of products to grow back hair, but all of them did not work. This product acturally works if you use it as prescribed. I love seeing my hair growing thicker and more healthy again. Super result and five stars.
If you want the real thing, you need to pay the real price.
this is the best dollar per unit price I could find even two months after purchase.
The foam just didn't do much. I actually see results with this. And it's easier to keep that 1mL amount per use.
Also applying the liquid seems easier than applying the foam. Just spread the hair away and drop those drops.
Worth Buying Brand Name
I have to agree with several other commenters--this stuff works better than the generic. I'm not sure why or how, but I have gotten more results with the three bottles of this stuff than with months of using the Kroger / Target / Wal-Mart brands of the same solution.
Noticeably thicker mid October to March
Works for me. Started in October and March was noticeably thicker. Some itching. Some flaking due too dried product when using recommend dose. I use how ever much my scalp wants at that time. Im not supper consistent. I slow usage when it itches.
I was amazed at the results
After using my first three month supply, I was amazed at the results. I had noticeable thickening of my hair when I reapplied it. You can tell the most as soon as you get a hair cut, as the thinning portion does not grow as fast as the rest of my hair. I am very happy with it, and will continue to buy this.
Definite perks over the foam solution
This might be useful for anybody deciding whether to get this or the foam version.
I used the Rogaine foam for about six months before switching to the liquid dropper. Many of the reviews herald the foam as being much easier to use, which would be true if you are applying it to an area with very little hair. But in my case, I'm not bald, I just had thinning hair all over, while the hair that I did have I kept at about 4-5 inches long. When I used the foam, it would act more like a styling mousse, and it felt like 90% got in my hair while only a small fraction of it actually got on my scalp. As such, after six months I had somewhat noticeable results only on the "bald spot" part where I could more easily reach the scalp.
Switching to the dropper meant I could reach all of my scalp with very little getting caught in my hair. So if you have thinning but still not-too-bad hair (and you're using Rogaine more as a proactive measure before it gets worse) and you have your hair longer than a couple inches, absolutely get the dropper over the foam.
I do want to say, though, that one of the detriments to using this is it seems to kind of dry up and flake some, so it's kind of like a whole new battle with dandruff, which isn't overly fun.
Very good seller. Product so so.
Good price. The item itself not that good. It grows more hair in the areas you do not want it than in the areas you want it.
I need to mention that it helps keep some hair on if you apply it regularly every single day. Very happy with the seller.
It works!
My husband is using this product since 3 months ago and it works, the hair is thicker and it's growing very fast.
This is the second treatment that I bought for him, I hope that works as fine as the first one.
You have to apply it twice a day, one on the morning and one on the evening.
Didn't make the rest of my hair fall out
I didn't really have a bald spot before, my hair was just thinning, so I can't tell for sure if it worked, but I think my hair feels thicker, and I'm pretty sure it didn't make it worse.
Doesn't do anything near temples, but it wasn't supposed to anyway.
Didn't make it better, didn't make it worse
Used for a long time (about 6months) and didn't notice really any difference. Decided to stop using but didn't notice it get worse either. Looking for other products.
I would defiantly recommend the foam
Waking up and half a sleep at 5 am trying to stay on schedule with this product I have accidentally knocked the bottle over and spilled more than half a bottle. I would defiantly recommend the foam. The dropper method is not easy to use and even harder with long hair. Not sure if the product is working yet only been 2 months but the application method is inconvenient. Switching to the foam and will never buy the dropper again. Each bottle is about $12 and I have wasted about 1 whole bottle so far by knocking it over in the morning. At this rate I'll waste 3 bottles a year.
Minimal, if any, hair regrowth - Doesn't really work at all
Used this religiously for nearly 1 year -- had very limited regrowth (if any). I will say that I have noticeable thinning in the frontal area, and I used it in the frontal area, and there has been ZERO regrowth, even after using this for nearly 1 year (twice a day, every day). There may be very little growth in the back area (crown area) but even that growth is extremely minimal, and not very noticeable. I noticed that this product makes the hair feel thicker because it tends to stick to the follicles of hair and makes them feel greasy. I don't know how much hair actually grew. This may be why some men have noticed regrowth--I don't think the hair actually regrew, it may be the existing hair that appears thicker once these chemicals have adhered to the existing hairs. The Rogaine is actually pretty adherent to the hair follicles, and doesn't easily come off even after several shampoo washes. I haven't had anyone make any remarks about hair growth, and didn't notice any growth myself. I guess I'm part of the group which didn't have their hair grow back. I'd say save your money.
Hope to see results! :-)
My doctor advised me to use this after I started losing my hair. I've only just begun using it so I guess I'll know later on if this product will work for me. I do think any follow up orders will be the foam, just because that seems like it would be easier for it to remain where I need it without running or streaming to other areas of my scalp. I use rubber gloves to apply it and rub it in to keep it from streaming elsewhere. So the real verdict is actually out, but I understand that this product may not work for everyone. Also, ladies, notice I said my doctor advised me that it would be ok for "me" to use, it doesn't mean it may be OK or safe for "you" to use. So please make sure you do what's best for your health if you decide to try this product. In the mean time learning to wear hair pieces and wigs has been helpful while I wait to see if my hair will grow back.
... Rogaine for a few years now and have seen good improvement; however
I have been using the women's Rogaine for a few years now and have seen good improvement; however, using it twice a day was a pain, so when they came out with the women's foam that you only had to use once a day, I tried it. But the foam is not as easy to apply as a liquid, so since the women's foam is a 5% formula, as is the men's liquid is a 5% formula I reckoned that I could try the men's (after years of being warned against it by Rogaine). So I ordered the men's liquid and I have discovered that it's a little "heavier" than the women's and therefore it doesn't drip and run as easily. The reason for the 4 stars, instead of 5, is that I haven't been using it long enough to know if it's as effective as the twice a day regimen.
A staple in mens hair solutions.
A staple in mens hair loss solutions, Rogaine is what you would expect. It doesn't really "regrow" hair for me, but it does seem to have stopped any additional hair loss. I recently got the liquid instead of the foam, for what reason I'm not sure, but the liquid leaves my hair greasy. The foam doesn't last as long, and I do like that, to me, it feels like the liquid penetrates into the scalp more, but that's probably all in my head. I think this is a must for any man who is worried about baldness, and the key is to not wait too long, try and stop the problem early.
It actually works!
Stopped hair loss!! My doctor was surprised to see that my hair came back. However, as instructed, if you stop using it, you lose hair again... So I have to keep using it... The only bad side is that, the price is too expensive, compared to those generic brands. Hopefully it will go down a little bit in the near future.
Things to remember about this product: First is that ...
Things to remember about this product: First is that when you begin to use it your hair goes through a bit of "shedding". This is normal. It takes 4 solid months to realize any difference in new hair growth. This takes patience and diligence. Lastly, you have to do this for the rest of your life... yup! If you stop, your hair will go back to the way it was. Bottom line is that it works for me.
